Deleting lines from the model

Before you begin

If you have not already opened the Model window and selected the model you want to work with, do so now. How?

To delete a line in a model:

Select the line header of the line you want to delete.
To select a series of lines, click the header of the first line and SHIFT-click on the header of the last line.
Right-click on the line header and select Delete Line #, where # is the number of the line selected.
When the confirmation message displays, click [Yes] to delete the line.

Tip: Estimating warns you if deleting a line will affect any other questions or question formulas in the model. From the warning, click [View Affected Lines] to open the Questions in Use window where you can view a list of the questions or question formulas that use the line you have selected to delete.
