Open the Addon window in one of the following ways:
- On the ribbon, from the Miscellaneous group on the Data tab, click Addons.
- In classic view, click Database menu > Addons.
- From the Totals
window, click
or select Edit Addon from the shortcut menu.
- Select the addon you
want to change.
The source option indicates where the addon showing in the window is stored. If you opened the window from the Totals window, choose whether to change an addon in the estimate or the standard database.
You can click
to choose from a list of existing addons, or scroll through
the addons using [<<] and
[>>]. -
Make changes as needed.

To change the addon number, click [Renumber] and enter the new number in the Addon field.

To change an entry in a text box, click in the box, drag the cursor to highlight the entry, and type in the new information.

- When you finish changing the addon, click [OK] to save it.
Tip:
- Changing an addon in the estimate does not affect the standard database. Likewise, changing an addon in the standard database does not affect the estimate.
- You can also change an addon in the estimate by changing the values in the Totals window. Simply double-click the cell you want to edit. Then highlight the cell contents and enter the new value.
- You can use Edit Addon to copy a modified estimate addon to the standard database. How?
