Starting a new standard database

Database/Estimate Settings window

The Database Settings window and the Estimate Settings window contain the entries you made when you created the standard database or estimate. They include information such as the format for Sage Estimating phase codes, work breakdown structures (WBS), crew pricing, the standard hours per day, week, and month, and (in the Database Settings window) item sort selections. Sage Estimating saves your entries when you click [OK].

When you create a new estimate, Sage Estimating copies the information from the Database Settings window You can then use the Estimate Settings window to customize the information for the estimate.
