This window is used to enter information about a particular record or spreadsheet row. If the field is blank, simply begin typing. If you are editing a note, the characters you type are inserted at the cursor position. In the window, you can use the following keys:
[Ctrl]+[C] |
Copies the selected text to the clipboard. |
[Ctrl]+[X] |
Cuts the selected text to the clipboard. |
[Ctrl]+[V] |
Pastes the contents of the clipboard at the insertion point. |
[Enter] |
Starts a new line. |
[Home] |
Goes to the beginning of a line. |
[End] |
Goes to the end of a line. |
[¬] [®][] [¯] |
Moves a character at a time in the direction of the arrow. |
[Ctrl]+[®] |
Moves to the beginning of the next word. |
[Ctrl]+[¬] |
Moves to the beginning of the previous word. |
To open the Notes window, click beside any Notes field (if it is available), or press Ctrl+Shift+N.
