Initially, Sage Estimating calculates the category amounts based on the order quantity and unit price. However, you may want to enter a quote from a subcontractor or prorate a quoted amount to the items within a level. Sage Estimating applies a different font and background color to indicate that lump amounts are entered rather than calculated.
If you later change any value involved in calculating a lump amount or if you reprice from the standard database, you have the option of overriding the lump amount.

If labor and equipment have the same productivity factor (see the Detail window), changing the labor quantity also recalculates the equipment values. |
