This window contains a list of the layouts created for the current spreadsheet sequence. From here, you can apply the selected layout to the spreadsheet or click the appropriate button to add, edit, or delete a layout. You can also choose to save a custom spreadsheet layout for your own use or share it with other Sage Estimating operators.
Note: You must have manage layout permissions to create or edit a shared layout.
Open this window in one of the following ways:
In classic view, click View menu > Spreadsheet Layout, or click on the toolbar.
For more information, click on the title
bar of the window, and then click a field or button.
Tips:
If you simply want to insert columns into the current spreadsheet layout, right-click a column heading in the spreadsheet, click on the shortcut menu, and then use the Insert Columns window to select the columns.
This window displays custom spreadsheet layouts on two tabs.

Opens the Layout name window so you can create a new spreadsheet layout for the estimate in the Modify Spreadsheet Layout window. After you click [OK] to save the new layout, edit it by clicking [Edit]. You must have manage layout permissions to create a new shared layout. |
[Edit] |
Displays the Modify Spreadsheet Layout window to modify the selected layout. It also allows you to name and save the current layout. The selected layout appears in the Modify Spreadsheet Layout window so you can make the desired changes. You can also access the Spreadsheet Layouts window for editing by right-clicking a layout in the Spreadsheet Layouts window and selecting Edit Layout from the shortcut menu. You must have manage layout permissions to edit a shared layout. |
[Rename] |
Allows you to change the name of the selected spreadsheet layout. You must have manage layout permissions to rename a shared layout. |
[Delete] |
Removes the selected custom spreadsheet layout from either the Shared Layouts tab or the My Layouts tab. Deleting a shared layout also deletes it from the Shared Layouts tab for other operators who are using custom spreadsheet layouts in Sage Estimating. You must have manage layout permissions to delete a shared layout. |
[Create Personal] (Shared Layouts tab) |
Opens the Layout name window so you can create a custom spreadsheet layout based on the selected shared layout. For example, if you are using a shared layout called Totals to determine the totals for a job, and you want to create a modified version of the Totals spreadsheet layout for your own use, click [Create Personal]. You can then modify the layout as desired without affecting the Totals spreadsheet layout. |
[Create Shared] Layout (My Layouts tab) |
Opens the Layout name window so you can create a shared spreadsheet layout from the selected personal layout. Your personal spreadsheet layout is not changed by this process; it remains on the My Layouts tab.
