- In the list of passes on the Assembly Takeoff window, select the pass you want to replace. The dimensions for that pass display in the Variable pane.
- Move the cursor to the Variable pane and edit the dimension values you want to change.

Sage Estimating creates two passes labeled:
- Reversing
pass <original pass number>
This pass reverses the original pass from the estimate. It has the same dimension values as the original pass, but its Quantity equals -1. - Replacing
pass <original pass number>
This pass replaces the original pass in the estimate.
Sage Estimating labels the original pass:
- Pass replaced by <new pass number>
Sage Estimating calculates the new takeoff quantities and adds them to the existing quantities.
