Amount

Displays the extended cost (bid quantity x unit cost) of the entire bid. When you choose the subcontractor to be used, Sage Estimating puts this value into the Sub Amount column for the item from which you opened the bid grid. Other items included in the bid have an asterisk (*) as the sub amount.

Tips:

To see a pop-up window showing the difference between a subcontractor's bid amount and your self-perform amount, point to the Amount cell for that subcontractor.
Changing a bid amount recalculates the unit cost.
To restore items in the spreadsheet to their previous category amounts, double-click the header of the self-perform row.
You cannot edit the self-perform row.
