Clearing prices from the estimate
Use this command to revise an estimate by deleting the prices of items in the selected categories. This process changes the date shown in the spreadsheet and Detail window.
To open the Reprice Estimate — Clear Prices window:
- On the ribbon, from the Repricing group on the Takeoff tab, click Clear Prices.
- In classic view, click Pricing > Clear Prices.
This window contains four tabs with options for clearing prices for the specified categories.
After you click [OK] to start processing, Sage Estimating displays a window that shows how many items have been changed.
Caution! This process makes permanent changes to the database. Before you update prices, Sage recommends performing a back up of your data.
