Applying a layout to an estimate
After setting up a layout, you can easily apply it to the current estimate, or switch to a different layout, directly from the ribbon.
You can apply a layout to any sort sequence. A layout is not limited to use for a specific sequence.
Before applying a layout
In the Estimating spreadsheet, display the estimate and the sequence to which you want to apply the layout.
To apply a defined layout to the current estimate:
- On the ribbon, select the Home tab, and then from the dropdown list in the Spreadsheet Display group, select the layout you want to use for the estimate.
- In classic view, click
, and then select the layout from the Spreadsheet Layouts window.
