Using formulas to calculate item takeoff quantities (spreadsheet or takeoff grid)

Click in the first item's Quantity cell.
You can select the Quantity cells of other items using the standard Microsoft Windows selection methods.
- Right-click the Quantity column, and then select one of these options from the shortcut menu:

Enter a value for each variable in the window.

Click a button to continue.
To... Click... Add the new quantity to the existing takeoff quantities
[Add to Qty]
Replace the existing takeoff quantities with the new quantity
[Replace Qty]
Cancel the quantity calculation and close the Formula window
[Cancel]
Sage Estimating uses the formula assigned to each item to calculate the takeoff quantities and displays them in the Quantity column.
Any items that do not have a formula assigned to them will have a blank quantity.
