Add New Item

This option is available only when sorting by Phase/Item, and it is available in quick, item, and assembly takeoff when the Include Add New Item entry on takeoff lists check box is selected in the takeoff settings.

Double-click the option to add a new one-time item to your spreadsheet. It creates a new, highlighted row on the spreadsheet, beneath the phase you select. The description on the row displays **change this description**. Change the description and enter the remaining information for the item.

Notes:  

  • To see this option in assembly takeoff, right-click in the list area and select List Items.
  • You can add the item to your database.

    • On the ribbon, click Data tab > Updates group > One-Time Items.
    • If you are working in classic view, click Pricing > Save One-Time Items to Database.
