Model Takeoff command
Note: This feature is available only if you have a license to use Model Estimating.
Use this command to choose a model for takeoff.
- On the ribbon, from the Takeoff group on the Takeoff tab, click .
- If you are using classic view, click > .
The command opens the Model Takeoff window where you select the model to work with.
You can choose between models stored in the standard database or in the estimate.
- To begin taking off a model, select a model from the standard database.
- To review a model in progress or change a model you have already generated to the spreadsheet, select the model from the estimate.
Tip: A standard database must be open to take off a model or make changes to a model already generated to the spreadsheet.
