Creating budget entries for Job Cost

You can create budget entries in Sage Estimating (SQL) and then send them to a job cost management application, such as Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Job Cost.

Based on the job cost interface you specified in the Database Settings window or in the Estimate Information window, Sage Estimating (SQL) can produce job cost information for job cost applications in Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate.

To create budget entries for Job Cost:

  1. Start the Job Cost Export wizard.
  2. Complete the information for each step of the wizard.

  3. When you are ready, click [Finish] to generate the budget entry transactions.
