Changing the fonts used in the model

Before you begin

If you have not already opened the Model window and selected the model you want to work with:

  1. On the Database menu, click Models.

    The Model window opens.

  2. Click The List (ellipsis) button and then select the model you want to work with.
  3. Click [OK].

When you click on a line in an existing model, Estimating refreshes the current variables from the items and assemblies in the database. If it encounters any changes made to the database since you last loaded the model, it asks you if you would like to run Check Model.

To change the default font used for the model:

  1. Click An eye icon for Display Options to open the Default Display Options window.
  2. Change the Font settings as needed.
  3. Click [OK] to close the window.

Estimating applies the default font to:

  • New text or question lines added to the model.
  • Unformatted Edit Model line text such as Phase code, Item code, Assembly ID and Image names.

To change the font used for a line in the model:

  1. Place your cursor in the line you want to change.
  2. Using the Text commands in the toolbar, change the font as needed.

Estimating applies your changes to all text in the selected line.
