Question formulas, or Q formulas, are formulas that use responses to questions, collected during the interview process, to calculate the value for a variable. Although question formulas are found only in models, they can use the same operations that work in regular formulas.

For example, the answers to "What is the garage length in feet?" and "What is the garage width in feet?" could be used to calculate the Wall Length variable.
