Alternate Summary pane

Note: This feature is available only with a Sage Estimating (SQL) SQL product license. (It is not available with Sage Estimating Essential.)

The Alternate Summary pane displays grand totals for the current estimate.

You can choose to display only alternates that have an Included status, including them in the estimate, or you can display all alternates, regardless of their status.

  • To display alternates that are not included in the estimate, click the Advanced tab > Show Excluded Alternates.

  • To show only included alternates, clear the Show Excluded Alternates checkbox on the Advanced tab.

The Show Excluded Alternates checkbox is also available on the Alternate Summary pane. (Selecting it in either location has the same effect.)

Important! If you select this command, all alternate amounts will appear in the Alternate Summary pane, regardless of whether they are included in the estimate. Therefore, the amounts shown in the Alternate Summary could be different from the amounts you see on the Totals pane.
