Customizing a bill of materials

To customize a bill of materials, you can:

• Change the BOM description for an item.

  1. Click the BOM description.
  2. Click [Edit].
  3. Enter the new description.

• Change the order of the BOM descriptions.

  Click the BOM description and drag the folder () to a new position within the material class.

• Move an item to a different material class.

  Select the item and drag it to another material class ().

• Move an item to a different BOM description.

  Select the item and drag it to another BOM description ().

• Remove an item from the bill of materials.

  Select the item and press the Delete key. The item reappears in the Database Items list.
