About formula tables
Formula tables allow you to set up a formula with conditional input criteria for one or two variables. You can also set up a formula table to return a value based on a formula, such as Area. Based on your entries for the variable(s) during takeoff, the formula table returns the correct value to the formula. Formula tables are an excellent way to set up engineering tables that you use on a frequent basis.
For example, a formula table could return the weight of one foot of rebar to a formula based on your input for the Rebar Size variable. If you enter 3 for Rebar Size, the table returns .376, which is the weight of one foot of #3 rebar; if you enter 4, the table returns .668, and so on.
