Edit Item List Sort Order window

Item sort orders determine how items are displayed when you perform takeoff or standard database maintenance in Sage Estimating. You use the Edit Item List Sort Order window to view, add, edit, or delete item sort orders.

You can create an unlimited number of multiple-level sort orders that sort items by WBS code, group phase, phase, price code, job cost phase, or material class for items in your standard database.

Before you start

In Sage Estimating, open your standard database.

Open the Edit Item List Sort Order window in one of these ways:

  • On the ribbon, from the Elements group on the Data tab, click Item List Orders.
  • In classic view, click Database > Item Sort.
