Combine command

Use this command to turn the combine mode on and off in the spreadsheet.

  • On the ribbon, from the Spreadsheet Actions group on the Home tab, click Combine Items.
  • In classic view, click View > Combine, or click An image of the Combine icon, from Classic view on the toolbar.

When combine mode is on, Sage Estimating (SQL) shows consecutive identical items as a single line, which makes the spreadsheet easier to read.

The spreadsheet is in combine mode if a ü appears next to the command (classic view) or the corresponding ribbon button is recessed.

A combined line includes the quantity total and amount for a set of matching items.
