Formulas are used to convert measurements, such as length, width, and depth, into takeoff quantities. By attaching a formula to an item, you can have Sage Estimating (SQL) calculate its takeoff quantity for you.
Example: The formula used to calculate the takeoff quantity for a sand fill item might be:
Length * Width * (Sand Depth /12) /27
