Reprice Estimate from Database window
Use this window to update an estimate by replacing the prices of items for selected categories with the current prices from the standard database. This process changes the date shown in the spreadsheet and Detail windows. Sage Estimating (SQL) replaces the prices for existing item categories under the following conditions:
- The standard database price is not zero.
- The estimate price is not derived from a lump amount entered for a category.
- The item order unit is the same in the estimate and in the standard database.
For new categories assigned to items in the standard database after takeoff, Sage Estimating (SQL) adds the category price, order units, and conversion/productivity factor to the estimate.
Use these four tabs to select options for updating prices in the current estimate from the standard database:
Caution! This process makes permanent changes to the standard database. Before you update prices, Sage recommends performing a back up of your data.
