Saving one-time items to the standard database
Before you begin
If you have not already done so, open the standard database to which you want to save the items.
To save one-time items to the standard database:

Open the Save One-Time Items to Database window in one of the following ways:
- On the ribbon, click Data tab > Updates group > One-Time Items.
- If you are working in classic view, click Pricing > Save One-Time Items to Database.
When Sage Estimating (SQL) finds a one-time item, it opens the Save One-time Items to Database window. A proposed item code displays in the Item field. As you click on different items in the item list, Sage Estimating (SQL) proposes different item codes based on where the cursor is in the list.
- Specify an item code for the item in one of the following ways:
- Click [OK] to accept the proposed item code.
Click a different item in the item list to have Sage Estimating (SQL) propose a different item code. Enter the desired item code in the Item field.
- (optional) To enter additional item information, such as the formula, waste factor, or prices, click [Edit Item] and complete the desired fields in the Adding Database Item window.
- Click [OK] in the Save One-time Items to Database window to save the item to the standard database.
- Repeat steps 2-4 until no more one-time items are found.
Tip: If you don't want to save a particular one-time item to the standard database, click [Skip] to bypass it.
