Calculating takeoff quantities automatically during Quick takeoff

Step 1: Turn on the Enter Dimensions feature:

1. Right-click in the Quick Takeoff window.

2. On the shortcut menu, click Enter Dimensions.

   A check mark appears beside the option name, indicating that it is turned on.

Step 2: Use the Enter Dimensions window during Quick takeoff:

1. When the Enter Dimensions window opens during takeoff, enter a value for each variable.
2. Click [OK].

Sage Estimating (SQL) uses the formula assigned to each item to calculate the takeoff quantities and then displays them in the spreadsheet Quantity column.

Any items that do not have a formula assigned to them will have a blank quantity on the spreadsheet.

To turn off the Enter Dimensions feature:

1. Right-click in the Quick Takeoff window.

2. On the shortcut menu, click Enter Dimensions.

   The check mark no longer appears next to the option name.
