Setting up a subcontractor or vendor in Address Book
You can create companies or people contacts in the Address Book database and use them in Sage Estimating (SQL) as subcontractors or vendors.
Tip: You can also add subcontractors or vendors "on the fly" directly from an estimate that you are working with.
To add contacts to an Address Book database:
-
In Sage Estimating (SQL), click > Address Book.
The Companies/Contacts pane in the Address Book window displays list options for Companies, People, Regions, and Trades that you can find in the Address Book database. You can click any of these list options to display contacts of the selected type.
- Click [New Company] to start creating the new contact.
- Type the contact information in the right-hand pane.
- Click [Save] to save the new contact information.
Note: You can now use the new company contact as a vendor or subcontractor in an estimate.
