Learn about mouse techniques

The mouse works as it does in other Windows programs. You tell the software what to do by moving the mouse and clicking its buttons. An arrow-shaped pointer follows the movement of the mouse on the screen and indicates which area of the screen receives the action.

Click 

Executes a command or button.

Selects a field, option, or entry in a list.

Double-click 

Chooses the selected entry in a list.

Expands or collapses an entry (in multilevel lists).

Right-click 

Opens a shortcut menu with commands for your current position.
