Adjust Column

You can adjust numeric data in selected cells. The selected cells must be in a single column. You can multiply, divide, add, or apply a percentage to each cell in the selection. If you adjust a category column, you must select how the adjustment handles linked items.

1. Select cells in one column that contain numeric data.
2. Right-click and select Adjust Column, or from the Actions group, select Adjust Column.
3. Select how to adjust the column from the Adjustment type list.

4. Type the amount to adjust the data in the Amount box.

   Note: Type an amount as a percentage. For example, type 2.5 to increase every cell by 2.5%.

5. If you adjust a category price, select how to handle linked items from the Price linked items list.

   Adjusting prices for linked items

   Price Linked Items Options	Action
   Adjust selected and price linked items	Adjusts all items in the selection and all linked items.
   Prompt on price linked items	Asks you whether to make the adjustment for every linked item.
   Skip price linked items	Adjusts only the prices of unlinked items.
