Job Cost Text Integrator window
Use this window to set options for exporting Sage Estimating job cost data as a text file. Options you set in this window include the job cost default categories and file storage location for your resulting text files.
Exporting job cost data as a text file allows you to use the data for another application or program later.
-
Under Job Cost Information, in the Job cost system name box, select Text.
-
Click [Setup].
-
In the Job Cost Text Integrator window, click [Browse] , and then browse to the location where you want to save the text file.
Any job cost data associated with the selected estimate or standard database is saved to this location when you export it as a text file.
-
In the Labor, Material, Subcontractor, Equipment, and Other boxes, type a default Job Cost category.
Sage Estimating uses the applicable default job cost category you specify for each new item you create.
Example: If you enter a default Labor category code of 03-0100, each time you create a new labor item for the estimate or standard database, the new item is assigned that job cost category automatically.
-
If you want to overwrite the category information in existing items in the selected estimate or standard database, select the Add Job Cost categories to items check box.
Sage Estimating overwrites category information when you click [OK].
