Learning about the estimate database

The estimate database stores your estimates. Within the estimate database, you can also organize estimates according to "branches" or tiers. The estimate branches and estimate sub-branches are for display purposes only. The structure of your estimate database does not actually change.

Sage Estimating (SQL) allows you to create just one estimate database. Generally, you create the estimate database at the time of installation but you can also migrate an existing estimate database during the initial setup of Sage Estimating (SQL). See the Installation & Administration Guide for more information about setting up Sage Estimating (SQL).
