Delete

Removes a selected branch, sub-branch, or estimate from the Estimates Catalog pane.

Tip: You can select and delete more than one estimate at a time if you hold down the Ctrl key as you select estimates in the catalog.

Caution! Removing a branch or sub-branch also deletes all reports and sub-branches within it from the custom reports database. The Estimating Management Console prompts you for confirmation before deleting the selected branch or sub-branch.

An image of the Refresh button available on the Estimate Catalog toolbar

Refresh estimate catalog

Updates the list of estimates with any changes you have made in the Sage Estimating (SQL) software while the Manage Estimates window has been open.

For example, if you create a new estimate or estimate branch in the Sage Estimating (SQL), the new estimate appears in the Estimate Catalog pane when you click the refresh icon.

Tip: You can also use the drag-and-drop feature to copy a branch or estimate to a new location. Hold down the Ctrl key as you drag the branch or estimate to a new location. Hint text appears below your cursor indicating the current location as you drag the branch or estimate, so you can see the location before you release the mouse and the Ctrl key.
