Adding a separator line to a model

Before you begin

If you have not already opened the Model window and selected the model you want to work with, do so now. How?

To add separator line to a model:

Select a blank line in your model where you want to insert a divider.
Click $image\sepline.gif$ . Estimating enters a separator line in the model.
Use $image\fcolor.gif$ to change the color used for the separator.
Use $image\qproprty.gif$ to change the thickness of the separator.

Set up additional separator lines in the same manner. When you finish, click [OK].

The Insert Line – Separator Line command is available when you right-click on a line header
Once you add a line to a model, you can copy or move it.
