Changing the return values for a formula table

You can use the commands on the shortcut menu to change the return values in a formula table. These commands are available from the grid in the Formula Table window.

To change a value, right-click the cell and choose one of the following commands. A ü appears beside your selection.

  • Use Formula – returns a value based on the selected formula.
  • Use Formula Table – returns a value based on the selected formula table.
  • Use Numeric – returns the numeric value entered here.
  • Use Variable – returns the value based on the selected variable.
  • Substitute <xxx> – allows you to replace the entry in a cell. The name of the command indicates what kind of selection you can make.
  • Edit <xxx> – allows you to modify the database records indicated by the command name.
