Find/Go To window

This window is used to set up the search criteria and run the actual search for an item in the spreadsheet or in assembly takeoff. You can specify where the search begins, which sequence levels to search, and the description of items you want to find.

You can search for items by:

Spreadsheet groups (levels)
Keywords in the description.

To open this window, click $image\find.gif$ on the toolbar, or click Edit > Find/Go To.

Note: The Find/Go To command is available for only the spreadsheet or assembly takeoff. If you have a list open, this command becomes the Search/Close Search command.

Tips:

To go directly to the closest item in the spreadsheet, enter specific sort levels to search.
To select from a list of matching items, enter all or part of the item description.
To find the next item that matches the current search criteria, you can press F3 from the spreadsheet.
