Optimizing performance
Sage Estimating (SQL) has several options that affect how fast the estimate spreadsheet displays on your screen. Use the following settings to obtain the best performance:
- Do not display overline (top level) totals when the spreadsheet is expanded.
- On the spreadsheet, hide the Addon Amount and Grand Total columns.
- Do not set up more than four sort levels for a spreadsheet sequence.
Tips:
- To hide the level totals, use the Options command on the Edit menu (classic view only).

- On the ribbon, from the Spreadsheet Display group on the Home tab, click .
- In classic view, right-click the sequence tab, and then click Select Layout from the shortcut menu.
