Linking item prices in the standard database
Updating standard database prices by category
The Links tab provides buttons that let you establish price links between two or more items in the standard database. The advantage of linking prices is that changing the price of one item automatically updates the price of all other items linked to that item. Example
The Links tab also shows the item price from the Pricing tab. The price cannot be changed here.
For help on a field or button on this tab, click 
on the window and then click the field.
Tips:
- Click [New Category] to choose the categories for an item.
- Linked items in the standard database will always have the same price.
- Linking is allowed for the Labor, Material, and Equipment categories only.
