Rounding tab

The fields on this tab tell Sage Estimating (SQL) how to handle rounding, waste, and taxes for each category of an item. Example

Tips:

  • These fields control rounding if you mark the Round quantities option when printing a report or generating transactions for job cost. Rounding is done on the order quantity, used to calculate costs.
  • Spreadsheet quantities are not rounded because cumulative rounding would create a significant error. If you want to round the quantities on the spreadsheet, set up a formula for the item that includes the Round function.
  • Click [New Category] to choose the categories for an item.
