Printing estimate reports

You can print a report on paper, preview it on your screen, or export it to a PDF file or an ASCII text file. The printing procedure is similar no matter which report you choose to print.

You must have an estimate open before you can print a report because the report information comes from the current estimate. How?

To print a report:

  1. On the ribbon, select the Reports tab, and then from the  Estimate Reports group, click the report you want to print.

    In classic view, select Reports menu, and then select the report you want to print.

  2. (optional) To customize the report, click [Report Options].

    You can:

    • Control which records print. How?
    • Sort the report information. How?
    • Change the fonts or colors. How?
    • Change the page setup. How?
    • Include row numbers (on spreadsheet reports).
    • Set up headers and footers. How?
    • Set up a signature block How?
  3. (optional) To check the appearance of the report before you print it, click [Preview].
  4. Click [Print] to print the report.
