Setting up the report cover page

The report cover page contains information (for example, client name, job address, job size) you entered about the estimate using the Estimate Information option on the Takeoff menu. By default, all of this estimate information prints on the report cover page.

To set up the report cover page:

  1. On the ribbon, select the Reports tab, and then from the  Estimate Reports group, click the report you want to print.

    In classic view, select Reports menu, and then select the report you want to print.

  2. Click [Report Options].
  3. Select the Print cover page check box on the Report Options tab.
  4. Click [Setup] to open the Cover Page Setup window.
    • To prevent a field from printing on the cover page, clear its check box in the Visible column.
    • To change the font and character formatting, click [Font] and change the settings.

  5. Click [OK] in the Cover Page Options window, and then click [OK] in the Cover Page Setup window.

Tip: Click [Edit Hdr/Ftr] in the Report Options window to design a header or footer for the cover page.
