To change the size of the spreadsheet columns:

  1. Place the cursor on the right border of the column heading.

    The cursor should look like this image\colsize.gif.

  2. Drag the cursor to make the column narrower or wider.

Tips:  

  • When you enter large numbers in a column, the column expands to accommodate the entry. If you enter a smaller number later, the column does not shrink to fit the smaller entry.
  • You can eliminate excess width in one or more spreadsheet columns using the Best Fit Column feature. How?
