This spreadsheet column shows the beginning of any notes entered for an item or level. Initially, the notes at the item level come from the standard database. If there is a subcontractor or vendor assigned to the item, the name and phone number of the contact and the notes from the subcontractor or vendor appear at the end of the notes.
Tips:
- A paper clip in the row header means there is a note for this spreadsheet row.
- Collapse the spreadsheet to see notes for an overline. The Options command controls whether notes display when the levels are expanded.
- To edit the notes, open the Notes tab of the Detail window or right-click and choose Notes. The changes apply only to the current estimate.
- There is an option to print the level notes in reports for an estimate.
