<WBS> columns

This spreadsheet column shows the work breakdown structure (WBS) value to which the item is assigned.

Note: You have multiple spreadsheet columns with this capability.

The column header comes from the Database/Estimate Settings window. You can organize items by WBS in the spreadsheet and when you print estimate reports.

Tips:

You can set up defaults to prefill the WBS values during takeoff or enter them later in the spreadsheet or Detail window.
To choose from a list of WBS values from the current estimate, click $image\pulldown.gif$ .
To choose from a list of WBS values from either the standard database or the estimate, select List <WBS> from the shortcut menu.
To set up a WBS value or change an existing one, select Edit <WBS> from the shortcut menu.
To enter the same WBS value for a number of items, choose Fill Down on the shortcut menu.
Only Takeoff and Detail type (marked with an asterisk) WBS code values allow changes. Item type WBS code values are for display only.
