Sage Estimating (SQL) uses the formula assigned to each item to calculate the takeoff quantities and then displays the quantities in the Quantity column (inside the takeoff grid).

Any items that do not have a formula assigned to them will have a blank quantity after you generate them to the spreadsheet.

  3. (optional) To enter another pass:

    • Move the cursor to the variable pane.
    • Enter new values for variables as needed.
    • Click An image showing the Add Pass button.

Sage Estimating (SQL) calculates the new takeoff quantities and adds them to the existing quantities. The number of the current pass displays at the bottom of the pane.
