Sage Estimating (SQL) Compliance
To ensure Sage Estimating (SQL) complies with the UAC security scheme, support folders and files are located in a shared location. The default for this shared location is the [Drive]:\Users\Public\Sage\Estimating folder.
Note: [Drive] indicates the hard drive of the computer or server where your Sage Estimating (SQL) software is installed.
User-accessed Sage Estimating (SQL) files are not kept or created in the Program Files folder. This ensures standard users have the appropriate read/write permissions to operate Sage Estimating (SQL) programs.
Storing Sage Estimating (SQL) data folders or reports in a non-compliant location is not allowed. This is to prevent virtualization of your data. Your Sage Estimating (SQL) program will return an error message if you attempt to open or save a folder or file in a non-compliant location.
