When merging estimates, you can only merge estimates into a newly created estimate. Merging into an existing estimate is not possible.
The merged estimate uses the new estimate’s Totals Page format.
Note: If you are using a custom default Totals Page Template, the new estimate uses that default template.
Any subtotals from the source estimate are removed because the format of the target estimate takes precedence. If there are any addons from the source estimate, they are placed at the bottom of the target estimate’s Totals Page. This may cause the totals to be different than what you expect if the addons in the source estimate were calculating based on subtotal amounts. We recommend that you review the Totals Page of the merged estimate for accuracy and adjust the formatting if needed.
