Adding contacts to an address book

Address Book contacts are listed by contact type:

  • Companies
  • People
  • Regions
  • Trades

When you select a contact type, a list of the companies, people, regions, or trades appears in a grid in the right-hand pane.

Before you start

Note: You can have only one active address book.

If you need to change the active address book:

  1. In the Address Book Catalog toolbar, click the search Search icon button.

    The Search Available Catalog window appears.

  2. In the Search Available Catalog window, select select the address book you want to view or edit.
  3. Click [OK].

To add a contact to the active address book:

  1. On the menu bar, click [New Company], [New Person], [New Region], or [New Trade], depending on the type of a contact you want to add.

  2. Edit the contact details in the detail pane (right-hand pane).

  3. Click [Save] to save the new contact.

  4. Click [Return] to return to the detail grid.
