Estimate Information window

You use this window to set reference information about a particular estimate. Estimating Management Console saves your entries when you click [OK]. Among other things, your entries are used for the following purposes:

  • To provide information you can include on the cover pages of estimate reports.

  • To set permissions for allowing other operators to access or view the estimate.

  • To specify the size, unit, and total cost per unit used to calculate the estimate totals.

  • To specify the job size, duration, and contract amount to be used as the basis for addons.

  • To define MWBE business requirements (for the United States and Canadian locales only).

The locale refers to the language specified in the Regional Settings of the Control Panel. It tells Sage Estimating (SQL) how to sort information as expected in your language, what currency symbol to display and use in reports, what date and number format to use, and whether to include MWBE requirements in your software (available for the United States and Canada).

  • To set the job cost interface.

To begin editing information for a selected estimate, click the [Edit] button at the top of the window.

Note: If you do not have View and Edit access to the estimate, the [Edit] button is not available.

When you have finished updating the estimate information, click [Save].
