Adding blank lines to a model
Before you begin
If you have not already opened the Model window and selected the model you want to work with:

On the Data menu, click Models.
The Database Model window opens.
- Click the list button () and then select the model you want to work with.
- Click [OK].
When you click a line in an existing model, Estimating refreshes the current variables from the items and assemblies in the database. If it encounters any changes made to the database since you last loaded the model, it asks you if you would like to run Check Model.
- Select a series of lines (two or more) by clicking the header of the first line, and then holding down Shift while you click the header of the last line.
- Right-click on a line header and select Insert # Blank Lines, where # is the same as the number of lines selected.
- Estimating inserts the blank lines above the selected lines.
Tips:
- You need to add two or more blank lines to a model at one time. To quickly insert a single line in the model, right-click on a line header and select the Insert Line – <Line type> command. Estimating inserts the new line above the one selected.
