Saving the report settings
If you often use the same settings for printing a particular report, you may want to save those settings as a named report layout for printing the report.
To save the report settings:
-
On the ribbon, on the Reports tab, select the report you want.
In classic view, on the Reports menu, select the report you want.
-
Select the report layout you want to use as the basis for your new report layout, or accept the default (current layout).
-
Set the options on all the tabs, as desired.
-
If you selected an existing personal layout in step 3 and you want to save your new options with the same name, click [Save Layout].
If you selected an existing shared layout or the current layout, click [
], and then type the name of the layout you want to use for printing the report, or accept the prefilled layout name, depending on whether you want to save a new report layout or update the existing one. -
If you are editing a shared layout, do one of the following:
-
Select the Shared option to make the report layout available to other Sage Estimating (SQL) operators.
-
Select the Personal option to restrict the layout for your own use.
Note: You need to have Manage Shared Layouts permissions to share a report layout.
-
-
Click [OK].
Tips:
- Use [Manage Layouts] to rename and delete saved layout names in the list.
- Sage Estimating (SQL) uses the Windows printer settings for this workstation.
