One-time item takeoff overview

One-time item are items that do not already exist in your standard database. They may be unusual items that you want to include in an estimate without first having to set them up in the standard database.

One-time item takeoff involves:

1. Opening the One-time Item window.

   • On the ribbon, from the Takeoff group on the Takeoff tab, click  One-Time Item.
   • In classic view, select Takeoff menu > Takeoff Tools > One-Time Item (or click on the toolbar.
2. Setting up the one-time item.
3. (optional) Clicking [Go to Detail] to enter more information about the item.
4. Clicking [OK] to accept the item.
